Render Competition focuses on supporting innovative and scalable startups. Each year, startups will apply and compete for one of eight investments of $100,000 each. Businesses should be at a stage where this capital will significantly impact their ability to grow and scale. Winners will be required to locate within the Greater Louisville region and our team will provide support through our network of partners.

Designed to help growing companies within Louisville and Southern Indiana, Render Capital has structured its strategic capital to invest equity to those businesses that fit the risk-reward profile of a venture company. Still, 83% of businesses never raise venture capital or access traditional finance as they begin their journey. Alternative means are needed to support growth and through Render Capital, we are working with local banks to bridge established and growing businesses with traditional debt financing. Other companies may find an alternative to the traditional route of financing, such as revenue based financing, and Render Capital has partners to supply this capital as well.

Wefunder is the first, and largest crowdfunding platform since the passage of the JOBS Act making it a great site for any entrepreneur to find capital for growth. Render’s Wefunder Match Fund will support companies in Louisville and Southern Indiana who decide to raise debt or equity investment on Wefunder. Our fund will match the first $20,000 that your company raises, helping to add momentum and support your campaign.
